One of the first stamp sets I
purchased from the 2014-2015 Stampin'Up
catalog is the seven piece " For Your Country " found on page 153. I
created the card shown
for a convention SWAP.
The card shape was made by using the Circle Card thinlits found on page 228.
The arrows are from a
new stamp set called
" Draw the Line " from
page 35.
The card paper is natural
white which makes for
the perfect background for a military card. Mossy Meadow and Hello Honey, two of the new In Colors for 2014-2016 were the other colors used.
Whether you need a masculine birthday, get well or thinking of you card consider adding this stamp set to your collection
The dog tags and the " Godspeed" are two more stamps from the set. There is also a set of military boots, a stamp saying "Thank You" and also a stamp that reads " Ask not what your country can for you. Ask what you can do for your country " Spoken by John F. Kennedy.

What a great set, and wonderful colors, too. Barb, this is also a style of card I have not yet made! So many folds and techniques - so little time! Thank you for sharing - I would never have thought of putting the scallop punch with the helmet, and it looks REALLY WONDERFUL! hugs, de
